To continue with our series to highlight the efforts of our fellow residents, this month we are sharing the success story of Mr Green Man of Def col HS Kandhari who at 80 years of age is actively involved in the park committees of RWA and also of the clubs of Defence colony for more than 4 decades! Mr Kandhari’s home garden is a feast to visit as his garden is blooming with thousands of exotic flowers and plants! His signature plants on the rocks are award winners every year in the biggest plant shows of Delhi. He creates these masterpieces on a piece of rock with plants all over the rock to make them beautiful. He also makes them more beautiful with fountains!
He is always kind enough to gift one plant to any visitor who visits him and also offers him/her a cup of tea or a drink in his home garden! We at Samvada wish Mr Kandhari a long and healthy life to keep nurturing plants in our colony to make it greenest. His address is C-15 Defence colony.
