The garbage problem in Sushant Lok is age-old. Such a big problem, so many discussions but the puzzle persists! Heavy showers come, any random day the vehicle breaks down, or any other issue, the residents suffer. There is no particular timing when they suddenly appear and demand the garbage bags; which generally people keep in hiding because otherwise the strays or the monkeys create havoc with that. The pickups are so overloaded that the garbage keeps hanging out or is littered on the roads enroute to its destination. Many suggestions are forwarded umpteen times but to no avail.
I sometimes wonder what exactly they do with the garbage, and where do they dump it as whenever I go out, I see it lying across the roads, all over Gurugram. I had heard the elected members this time had taken a vow to clean Gurugram, machines were also brought in but the result has yet to be outshine. If we all do our jobs sincerely, such condition would not prevail, why we need umpteen forces to keep telling us what to do? If we have taken the responsibility of a thing, why is it left in the doldrums? A conundrum to be solved.
