Garbage Galore in the S Block Park & Many Other Points-Lack of Civic Sense!

The park management sub-committee of SBWS laments the fact that in spite of a large number of garbage bins, provided thru MLA funds & by MCD, people visiting the park, especially the outside elements throw a large amount of garbage including newspapers, empty bottles, wrappers of gutka, ice cream, potato chips packets etc. in the open. Almost a rickshaw full of garbage is removed from this three-acre park on a daily basis. MCD also is at their wits end as how to stop residents from throwing Malba, garbage & dog poo etc. in back lanes & main streets. Is it the apathy of residents or lack of civic sense or some people are trying to save a few rupees by disposing of their garbage, just on the streets/back lanes??? A pathetic attitude.
