The pre-Diwali days are added to the already chocked service lanes with residents and their staff throwing kitchen-waste, bones, packing materials, plastic bags etc in the service lanes; They conveniently throw old furniture, malba after repairs, old bathrooms and toilet seats in the back lanes which is not picked by the MCD staff and keep adding for months to choke the back lanes. The MCD staff hardly seen working after 9 AM to clean the service lanes.
