As taken again and again in Samvada, garbage and malba dumping by residents in certain places of the colony has become a big nuisance for the MCD staff. The more they clean, the more malba gets dumped. Which becomes cumbersome for the councilor and the MCD staff to get it cleaned. Even after a special place was designated to dump malba and green waste was earmarked for residents, still the dumping goes unabated. In a certain location in D block near a dhalao where this practice had become a nuisance. Our Councillor Anita Sandeep Baisoya came up with a very innovative way of barricading the area and putting plants across. Also, big posters have been put at the designated spot stating “ NO DUMPING OF GARBAGE.” This has resulted in malba not being dumped at the particular site. Our councillor has promised to do the same in other affected areas to make the colony malba-free. Let’s all keep our colony clean.
