Navratra, celebrated in the month of Ashwin, is a time when devotees offer their prayers to Goddess Durga and her various incarnations.
Imperial Court ladies marked this occasion with an outpouring of excitement. They commenced their Garba practice 20 days in advance, dedicating themselves with unwavering enthusiasm for nearly an hour every day, despite their busy schedules, to perfect their moves.
On the Garba night, the Ladies Club orchestrated a fair featuring an array of shopping stalls, delectable cuisine, and a dedicated area for children to enjoy. The program commenced with a soul-stirring Bhajan sung by Chitra Guru.
Subsequently, kids performed a group dance, followed by captivating performances by members of the Ladies Club and other participating groups. The ladies’ dance was choreographed by Devyani and Sana, while the children’s performance was skilfully orchestrated by Rekha.
The night was a whirlwind of amusement. Everyone relished the gala, creating cherished memories.
