Like any other thing in life, even celebrations come to an end. Ganpati pooja which started on the 31st of August with great fanfare and devotion ended on the 9th of September. Some ladies kept Ganpati for 10 days, while some others for 5 days, 2 and a half days and even 1 day according to their convenience. This shows the flexibility of the Hindu religion.
Most of the Ganpatis were Eco Friendly, so for visarjan nobody had to find a river or a pond. A tub filled with water was used to immerse the idol of Ganpati. The same water with the vibes of prayers and chants was poured into the plants, sprinkled at home, blessing every corner with the blessings of Ganapati.
