Grand Omaxe was blessed with the arrival of God Ganesh in their society. Ganesh Puja was held on 7 September, on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Aarti was performed in the morning at around 10.30 am. There was excitement and festive fervour with families attending the puja dressed in colourful traditional clothes. Fresh flowers and the incense fragrance filled the air with joy. The Visarjan time, at around 5 pm, was an emotional one. There were dhols, cheers and dancing when sending off Bappa.
