Ganpati brings happiness, prosperity and peace. It was Ganesh Utsav at its best when Anita Kapoor and friends welcomed lord Ganesha in Vividha meeting.
The group of ladies sang and danced while bringing in Ganpati. Chants of Ganpati Bappa Morya echoed in the hall and the whole atmosphere was so beautiful and mesmerising followed by Jyoti and Anupama’s beautiful welcome dance.
Dr. Meetu and Renu’s naughty teacher’s day dance drama was very cute. Their two plaits with school uniform added that extra innocence. Our own talented Sonal Bhalla wrote, composed and sang a beautiful song thanking our Gurus since we were celebrating our teachers too.
Sunita, Swarn, Taani and Payal sang a guru bhajan which was very peaceful and meaningful.
Our artist friend Priyanka , who is learning flute, played a beautiful dhun on flute which left everyone asking for more.
A very graceful dancer Sandhya presented a soulful dance ‘ shukriya teachers’. Then it was time for Dohas. Many friends came forward and sang Kabir and Rahim Dohas one by one.
Janak Bhatia, being the cultural in charge, takes keen interest in choosing and finalising the programme and at the same time guiding the participants.
Birthday girls were wished as a ritual and given birthday gifts. In the end it was time for everyone’s favourite game tambola. Madhu played the perfect hostess. The meeting ended with hot burgers and tea along with delicious laddoos.
