Ganesh Chaturthi marks the birth of Ganesh ji, the god of wisdom, prosperity, and new beginnings. On Saturday, 7 September, on this auspicious occasion, several Hamletians, including me, brought Bappa home with fanfare. Ganesh Chaturthi is not just a sacred celebration but a cultural spectacle that fosters devotion, artistic expression, and unity. It truly brought residents together. On Saturday, residents dressed in ethnic wear could be seen visiting houses where Ganesh ji had come to bless us all. I too got a chance to participate in the aartis at the homes of a few residents. The sense of gladness Bappa brought to all of us was unmatched. May Ganesh ji give us all a new opportunity to work on ourselves! We look forward to 2025 to welcome Ganesh ji again.
