Ganesh Pooja at Princeton was observed on September 7th this year, with the beloved deity of Ganesh ji gracing more than a dozen homes in the community.
Many houses were adorned with glittering lights and decorations as relatives and friends gathered to seek blessings from Ganesh ji. Songs and prayers echoed throughout the towers, creating a divine and pure atmosphere.
One could hardly believe that the idols were handmade in almost every home. Each idol was meticulously coated with vibrant paints, showcasing the residents’ creativity and enhancing the grace of the deity. Residents of P 3C 71, P 3B 92, P 2C 53, 2 C 124, P 1B 65, and P 1A 67, among others, transformed their front rooms into mini temples, conducting the Pooja with immense devotion and bhakti.
Batches of people visited different flats at their convenience, reflecting the spirit of unity in diversity as we all live together in the community, emerging from various parts of our beloved nation. The visarjan, planned according to custom and tradition (within a week to ten days), was fulfilled by household members based on their convenience.
After meeting and greeting friends and relatives, residents relaxed in their respective homes, cherishing the bountiful memories created during this festive occasion.
