September being the month of festivals, Ganesh puja was also celebrated on 19/09/23 following other festivals. Princeton turned out to be spectacular with ladies and gentlemen moving to and from in colourful attires to different flats where people conducted the Puja. Moments of divinity and happiness are a mark of positivity and with this attitude, one becomes strong to face the challenges befalling in our daily life.
Puja at Mehtas. (P 1B 17), at Jyotis ( P 3C 71), at Ashwinis ( P2C 94) at Kashikas (P1B 65), are some of the many houses where the pujas were conducted!!
Mostly the deity’s visarjan was held between 5 to 10 days. At P1B 17, the visarjan was on the fifth day ( 24/09/23), at about 3 pm at Central Park in the presence of family members and friends…with the honourable pandit conducting the rituals.
The great garlanded Ganapathi Bappa was immersed in a big tub of water, thereby mingling with nature to prove His omni presence, protecting His devotees… A thin film of tears encircled the eyes observing the truth that good or evil come to an end.. we all look forward to the Majestic Ganesh puja of the following year.
