Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion at Marvel Homes Society this year. The festivities began with the installation of a beautifully crafted idol of Lord Ganesha in the society’s community hall. Residents came together to decorate the venue with vibrant flowers, lights, and traditional rangoli, setting the perfect tone for the ten-day celebration.
The atmosphere was filled with devotion as daily morning and evening aartis were conducted, drawing families and children to participate in the rituals. Devotional songs and chants echoed through the society, creating a spiritually uplifting ambiance. Cultural programs were organized in the evenings, where children performed traditional dances and songs, adding a fun and lively element to the celebrations. One of the highlights of the celebration was the eco-friendly approach taken by the residents. This year, the idol was made from biodegradable materials, emphasizing the importance of environmental consciousness. On the final day, the society came together for the grand visarjan procession. Accompanied by dhols and music, the idol was taken in a vibrant procession around the society before the immersion, where the community bid a heartfelt farewell to Lord Ganesha, with the hope that He returns next year to bless their homes once again.
