Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated in RP2 by the RP-II RWA for the third year in a row on 7th Sept. Ganpati ji was welcomed by the residents in the society and everyone participated in the sthapna of the idol, puja, and aarti. Residents volunteered to arrange bhog pra-sad for the deity for both days. The next day also saw a large turnout of residents and inspite of the rains people came and enjoyed the kirtan. The idol visarjan ceremony was done on 8th Sept with loud chants of Ganpati Bappa Morya, agle baras phir Jaldi aa.
