As we all know India held the G20 summit from 8 Sept to 10 Sept 2023 in Delhi. Delhi was been spruced up to look like a world class city. Though everyone appreciated this but the impact came on the residential colonies like ours. All the manpower, be it horticulture, sanitation, electrical etc were deputed for the preparedness towards G20. Inside lanes especially back lanes and parks are in a mess. Streets were being cleaned after intervals of three to four days. To expect the MCD staff to do double duty is not fair. Hopefully now things will be back to normal. Lastly really appreciate the residents who for the pride of their country are not complaining but cooperating.
