45-50 members got together to celebrate a colourful evening on the occasion of Independence Day and Teej, starting with a deshbhakti song medley, full of josh and actions by teachers of GP Main Gyandeep school. Then came the show of talent by putting the best foot forward, in singing and thumping the floor by dancing. Shanti Sharma recited a poem. Life Lessons by Lord Krishna by Shanta Kashyap was another subject of interest. Finally a very loud discussion participated by all on “woman safety & dignity” concluding- “We must not keep dumb, must raise our voice against all atrocities in society.” Feast of mouth watering delicious snacks added to the celebrations.
