Friendship Club meeting took place on 24th Feb 2024. 40 members enjoyed playing simple games prepared by members-Poonam Jain and Anshu Jain, both are Gyandeep school teachers.
In the first game – day-today Hindi Muhavare were typed leaving dash where number was to be written example-chuhe kha ke billi haj ko gye, (900) was to be written on dash. 20 questions were there. Sunita Chadha bagged 1st prize 200/-Pratibha received 100/- as 2nd prize.
Second game 20 muhavare were written in English words , in Hindi proper full muhavare was to be written example—question-monkey ginger, answer- bandar kya jane adrak ka swaad. 1st prize ?200/-goes to Pratibha, second goes to 2 members-Shanta Kashyap & Sunita Chadha both bagged ?100/- each.
3rd game 5 glasses were put in a row on the table and 5 -5 members stood on both sides of the table . Anshu, after asking to touch various parts of body, suddenly said ‘ stop’ glass was to be picked. Those 5 who failed to pick were out. One after the other group played, so that all present could participate. Finally Ritu Agarwal got the 1st prize ?200/-
Finally all enjoyed variety of snacks, tea and cold drink.
Friendship Club Picnic
Friendship Club picnic was held on 9-3-24. Members always wait for this event. 50 of them joined in a picnic dress. Along with serving snacks & cold drinks, the venue with colourful flowers, was converted into a classroom. Interesting questions were to be answered on a question paper distributed, in 2 minutes.
Invigilators made sure, no cheating took place. Serious concentration was worth watching. All members became children in inflating balloons & passing balloons ( passing the parcel), which were flying away while passing, to music. Antakshari is always a favorite with all & never ending. South Indian fresh hot lunch, loaded with variety, bloated stomach. The only question being asked was When next…?
