The sky was overcast, the humidity was high and high was the patriotism as Espacians stood united on the morning of 15 August to celebrate our country’s 78th Independence Day. A day that signifies India’s release from the British control.
A day which was the culmination of the sacrifices made by our great freedom fighters and compatriots. A day when India was awakened.
Our Chief Guest and fellow resident Captain Anant Ram (Retd) honoured the event. As the Tricolour was hoisted, Espacia echoed with the melody of our National Anthem Jana Gana Mana. The event was set rolling by our General Secretary Mrs. Sandeep Bansal and an overwhelming poem recital by the soulful poet Mrs. Pratibha Jain.
Beautiful, vibrant, colourful dances brimming with the spirit of sacrifice and devotion and energetic, flexible gymnastics performances were presented by the bubbly excited tweens of Espacia.
Singing, dancing, and pivoting to patriotic songs, the tiny tots presented a spectacular show and stole the limelight.
Special thanks to our President Mrs. Sudha Sharma and cultural committee head Mrs. Santosh Dubey for organizing and bringing the whole event together. A shout out to the parents and teachers whose hard work and support encourages the children to come forward and perform.
It was truly an overwhelming experience for my partner and me to host the show and now to bring it to you through pen and paper. Jai Hind! Jai Bharat!
