Free cataract surgery camp was held Gurdwara Dispensary on Sunday 22nd October from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This was followed by free cataract surgery, free test, free medicines and free glasses post surgery. Doctor Gauri Nagpal and team offered the services to the people. The camp was organized by doctor Gunitha Singh. 100 screenings were done from which 32 were shortlisted. ECG Blood sugar and Blood pressure was done free for shortlisted candidates. Now surgeries are planned and over the next 2-3 months, they will be performed. Dr Gunita informed that such camps will continue to take place once in 3 months at least at the Dispensary. She informed us that they will be planning a cardiology camp next.
