The “Har Ustat Foundation” is a society (an NGO) stationed in NFC driven by true and absolute bonafide motives of‘ sewa bhav’, and, leave no stone unturned in trying to reach out to as many to offer help in every which way, to ensure that all lead healthy, happy, meaningful lives standing on their own feet not being dependent on any other. Along with their other social activities, the ‘Har Utsat’ team with full determination announced the opening of ‘FREE CAREER COUNSELLING CENTRE’ at the “New Friends Co-operative Society,(Opp D-896 NFC)” which is open to all every Tuesday from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm and every Saturday from 11.30 am to 01.30 pm.
The ‘Counselling Centre’ will be managed by a profound three member team of Dr. Jasjit Kaur Kohli (Retd. Associate Professor, Delhi University) with over 40 years of experience, Brig. Devindar Singh (having vast knowledge in all fields:, and Prof. Subhash Sood (with vast experience in the field of marketing, management and finance). The Foundation initially commenced services in the field of counselling with an office in Jungpura, Bhogal which they have been running since 5-6 years. Seein the positive response, the team promulgated the idea of establishing a ‘centre’ in NFC targeting the ‘catchment area’ to be the surrounding urban villages as also extending help and assistance to the resident children of the colonies (NFC, FC, MB, IN). In fact, immediately on opening, the very first counselling session was conducted online on 10.09.2022 for a girl child from a village who wanted guidance on the path of choosing a career in ‘Police Services’. The society is glad that its panel of counselors was able to assist the child and guide her through the various options available and the process, educational qualifications etc. required to reach her goal.
The society invites all residents, their children, children of their respective staff, etc. to visit and avail of the services provided. A further request is also being made to the residents to kindly inform their respective staff of the available facility to ensure a better life for their children.
