Two people came to our house saying they were from the consensus department. They had been assigned the duty of collecting the adhar card number to link it with the voter card. Since they looked genuine and they were carrying a list with voter card with pictures I was ready to share the adhar numbers with them. I happened to be a little busy so I asked them to come back in an hour. They never came back and later I came to know from the neighbourhood group chat that they were frauds and were carrying fake ID cards. Obviously they would use the adhar card numbers for illegal transactions. Saves from being duped I am all grateful to the neighbourhood group.
