A big function is being planned on 12 Oct in S Block Park by SBWS.All Govt. regulations shall be followed. There would not be any sales stall as commercial activity is strictly banned by authorities. SBWS is the officially appointed care takes & custodian of the park by MCD & DPGS, a Delhi Govt society. It is the duty of SBWS, who gets grant from DPGS for the maintenance of the park, to follow the protocol inform authorities if there is any misuse of the park. Cultural activity would involve, “dandia” & “Bhangra” performance, a live musician, Tombola & Mehndi artist’s being a registered & recognized RWA was permitted in 2019 onwards to celebrate religious functions like, Ram Lila, Karva Chauth, Diwali Mela & Holi etc. in the park.
