The foot over bridge between Green Park & Hauz Khas has become a safe haven for squatters Ladies have complained to the MLA that “It is for public walking, ,ot for housing of beggers. We ladies like to walk accross to Green Park or vice versa. It feels unsafe. Residents of Hauz Khas are perturbed over the nuisance created by squatters and beggars who have made this bridge a safe haven for eating and sleeping.
The squatters become territorial and threaten people who use the ovetbridge for walking.
Please ensure safety for everybody.
Also, is there any legal way, in the interest of masses, to fully commence use of bridge? Hopefully, the bridge will not start crumbling by the time released to public within a decade through our legal system & red tape. Already over 2 yrs have passed.
There must be a way out of this nonsense.
This should be immediately addressed otherwise it will be a big nuisance. They need to be relocated from here and security of ladies should be taken care of.”
