The walls of the foot over bridge were covered with cut glass pieces to ward off the monkeys. The monkeys had created a nuisance and were a hazard to human life too. A lady while walking got so scared of the monkeys attacking her that she fell and injured her face and eyes. Now the pedestrians can walk fearlessly and the youngsters can even look into their mobiles (which they always do) without the fear of being attacked by the monkeys. It also is safe from unwanted elements who used to climb the wall from the nullah side.
