Manju Kharbanda and Mohinder Kharbanda (residents of Ridgewood Estate) are Educational Heads of an NGO and are helping to get migrant children back to school. There are four branches in Gurgaon and one is behind EWS flats of Ridgewood. We routinely carry out food drives, books and stationery drives, clothes, and games drives so that we can provide these to migrant children who are deprived of them. Through these compassionate programs, we aim to break the cycle of poverty and empower children to reach their full potential. Our comprehensive approach provides non-formal education and holistic support to children who have either dropped out of school or have never had the opportunity to attend.
We continually need help to increase the quality, quantity and reach to more and more children. We need funding to pay volunteers who also come from the same strata. We need food items, books and stationery, games, clothes and whatever these migrant children need. We strongly recommend our Senior Citizens break their monotony by becoming volunteers and taking evening classes as per their convenient days and the subject of interest.
For all other help, please contact Manju Kharbanda- 9999004031 or Mohinder Kharbanda at 9810072113; G042, Ridgewood Estate.
