Mohinder and Manju Kharbanda, residents of Ridgewood recently carried out a food drive for about 100 underprivileged children residing in a cluster behind Ridgewood and two other branches with the help of fellow residents.
They are associated with a New-York based NGO “I Light Global” (ILG), founded by three USA-based Indians, a Ridgewoodian Dr Rajeev Nagpal, DNB from AIIMS, Vinod Sharma & Shailesh Gupta, entrepreneur and Engineer respectively.
The recent food drive was held on 1st day of Navratri, i.e. 22nd March, 2023 behind Ridgewood Estate near Vipul Square. This time around the contributors included Mugdha, Dwaraka Pallavi, Sunita Srivastava & Manju Srivastava. Bananas, Biscuits, Muffins, Rusks & Fruity bottles were contributed and distributed to the children.
