Honour to share the joyous occasion of organizing Ram Leela by the residents of sector A pocket B & C for the first time. Most splendid fact is that all the roles were being played by our society kids which voluntarily came forward to be a part of this mega event. All the parents, grandparents also participated in the arrangements with zeal and sharing each and every responsibility with the organizers. None the less, Pandit ji also equally shared responsibilities including playing role of Raja Janak and to make the seating arrangements ready etc. The funds usage was also optimized such that maximum stuff which could be used for the Ram Leela was taken from either from temple or parents to avoid any unnecessary expenditure. Balance costumes were sponsored by a resident of society.
The idea of having this Ram Leela was shared by Mandir Samiti and it is extended in implementation by Team NAUTANKI 2.0 (Mrs Shruti, Mr Sangeet and Mr Abhishek). Young mothers and fathers, Grandparents came forward for this religious gathering and contributed in one form or another. Kids behind the screen were rehearsing and simultaneously preparing the background for next scene. Few ladies from society voluntarily took the charge of Make up for the actors.
Auditions were held and the actors were chosen based on their suitability to the character and talent. Everyone was so enthusiastic for this event to be a mega success that even kids participated whole heartedly in the long practice sessions and patiently waiting for their roles. Each day the program started with Bhajan or dance on devotional song.
Society residents (including toddlers) were very much cherishing the event and giving a boost to the team members.
Ram Leela was organized from 15 Oct till Dusshera and major events depicted were as follows:
– Baal Kaand, Ayodhya Kaand, Aranya Kaand, Kishikandha Kaand, Sundar Kaand, Lanka Kaand (Yudha Kaand)
In a nut shell, Ram Leela was mega success amongst the residents and all age groups and all genders (~25-30 kids) participated whole heartedly in this event.
