Starting from Navratra days there is festive mood seen in the various housing societies – Couples in traditional dresses, children wearing lenghas and kurt-pyjamas running merrily in the complex. The cheerful mood within few days is transformed into the Diwali illumination seen all around in different colours and themes across the societies. However the climatic environment is not conducive to the mood. We need to be cautious at our own levels and see that any of our actions do not add to the air pollution that already exists.
