As promised, the Festive October at the Supertech Emerald Court was very exciting till the very end. The Navaratri and the Durga Puja went off with almost all the residents enjoying to the hilt. Right after, the Diwali Fest started making inroads. It was decided that the pre-Diwali celebrations should take the residents to a new high. Diwali festive vibes in this event brought all the residents to the dance floor grooving to the tunes of a live band of repute. The residents enjoyed great food and drinks as well as lots of shopping options organized by the Cultural Committee led by Dr. Sonika and her team. The children took part in the rangoli and diya painting competitions.
While everyone enjoyed the Diwali at home, the ECORWA lighted 108 divas at the amphitheatre and the residents also brought their diyas to celebrate the Deepawali together.
The Bhandara Committee celebrates the Goverdhan Puja every year. This year too, many residents participated in the puja followed by prasad distribution among the staff and residents of the society.
The new team of the ECORWA BOARD was elected by the residents after a cordial AGM culminating in elections, where majority of owners voted for the nine-member board to be in place for the next one year. An independent election committee of SD Saxena, SC Jain and Wg Cdr Raj Kumar conducted the elections and declared the winners.
The new team led by UBS Teotia as President, elected V Siva Raja as the Secretary and Anil Goyal as Vice President for a second term unanimously, and Naresh Keswani was elected as the Treasurer for the present term. Other members — S C Pawah, S K Rai, B S Bhati, Suresh Kumar and Arti Koppula will head various committees to carry out important activities in the society.
