The festival of colours – Holi was celebrated with full fervour again this year with great participation from residents. RWA team had made elaborate arrangements for the celebration of this festival of colours in front of the mandir play ground.
The celebrations began early in the day, with everyone assembling at the Mandir ground in the morning. Carefully laid out tables had thalis full of colorful gulaal inviting the riot of colors to begin. People met each other, smeared each other with gulaal, and exchanged the customary hugs, wishing each other Holi Mubarak!
Apart from colors, there was plenty of feasting available for the residents, ranging from the traditional gujiya and thandai, to pakodas and chaat. Bollywood music based on Holi theme added charm to the celebration.
The programme ended with Holi Milan.
