The heavy downpour on 1st August uprooted a tree on the M block road near the M block Market in GK 2. MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj and the PWD were informed of the same but because of heavy rains the PWD team got delayed due to traffic. The MCD horticulture office was approached and three staff members from the MCD Store removed the tree to the side of the road. Two more trees were reported to have fallen the next day on 2nd August; those two were also removed by the MCD horticulture team. We applaud the MCD Horticulture team, who responded promptly to the request and worked tirelessly to remove the fallen tree during the heavy downpour.
