Highlights of Noida Dog Policy: The latest Dog Policy of Noida Authority has the following points:
1. Pet (dog or cat) registration is a must and should be completed by 31 Jan 2023 by paying fee of Rs 500 per annum
2. Vaccination and sterilization of pet/stray is must and will be done by owner/Noida Authority.
3. Stray dogs can’t be fed in common areas and only in designated feeding points.
4. Pets outside the homes can’t be allowed without leash.
5. While in lift, muzzle to be used for pets.
6. Aggressive or sick dogs will be shifted to shelter homes.
7. In case of dog biting, owner to bear the cost of treatment and a penalty of Rs 10000 to NA.
8. Owner to clean the area if defecated by pet.
9. No breeding of pets is allowed inside flats/homes.
10. No AOA/ RWA can make/impose any rule other than this dog policy issued by Noida.
