In a world largely driven by AI and screen time almost inevitable for kids, I endeavour to go back to basics and experience the simple joys of life. Sharing some DIY activities to keep your little one away from technology and at the same time develop their cognitive skills without compromising on the fun.
DIY Sensory/Tactile Board for 6 months+
Take a cardboard and paste different things from around the house. This gives kids the necessary sensory exploration and we can also name the texture when they touch like bumpy, rough, smooth etc.
Ending of the current year and the beginning of a new year is a joyous time, a time of partying and gifting for the kids. Here is what you can enjoy with your child.
DIY Gift Wrapping Sheet: Put a chart paper on balcony glass (If you are wondering why glass, well the water colours and tape marks come off easily) and let the child explore with water colours/crayons, and then use the same as gift wrapping sheets for friends and families.
No cost zero waste activities.
