This is compulsory for every one whether it’s a Commercial or a residential property, everyonehas to tag the location of the property otherwise rebate of 10% which is
given for House tax payment will not be given to owners who have not Geotagged their property by 31 January 2024.
The process is simple, one has to:
-Just Download the MCD APP on their mobile which is available on both android and iOS platform. -After downloading the app Click on Citizen portal.
After that enter your registered mobile number on which you will receive an OTP
-Next step ur full property details will reflect in pink
-Click on the property and geo tag it and press Submit button.
The details will turn Green showing your property has been Geo Tagged
The app in its initial stages has had some teething problem where it was not functioning on IOS platform. Hope fully it will be resolved soon.
