Munne Singh – A name less known but his presence felt in the beautiful greenery of Espacia’s lawns and gardens. He was an integral part of our horticulture team for about a year. He toiled silently under the sun adding beauty to every corner of our garden.
In equal silence Munne Singh passed away untimely due to a cardiac arrest on 24 August at Sharda Hospital leaving behind a widowed wife and a daughter.
Residents Simple Gupta, Vandana Rai, Anuradha Atri and Swati Chauhan took cognizance and came forward to start fundraising for the Late Munne Singh’s grief-ridden family. Many Espacia residents voluntarily came forward and generously contributed towards the purpose.
Besides this collection, the Late Munne Singh’s colleagues in FM office also collected money separately.
A substantial corpus could be generated with kind contribution from all.
On Saturday, 9 September, Sushila Devi, wife of the Late Munne Singh, and her daughter were handed over the money, with due respect, by Mamta Agarwal (Vice President – AOA). Anuradha Atri (Executive Board Member – AOA) offered either of them a job with the FM office.
All of us offered them our support, consolation and encouragement to stand on their feet.
This loss can never be substituted for the family but this small effort from Espacians will definitely go a long way to help them tide over their immediate financial distraught and get back into the mainstream and move on in life.
God bless the departed soul and the family Munne Singh has left behind!
