On Sunday, 24 March, a children’s drawing competition was organised by Dr Surbhi under Batteesee Dental – an oral health initiative. The judges and the Guest of Honour were Mamta Chaturvedi and Santosh Kumar (an Artists and Fine Arts specialist) along with Anant Ram.
The theme of the drawing competition was ‘My Colourful Earth’ for the younger kids (6-9) and ‘Save Water, Save Earth’ for the slightly older ones (9-14). Varunika Rajgupta bagged the prize in the former category while Arika Singh secured the prize in the latter.
A couple of games had also been organised for the participating children. Sohaarth Bagga won the first prize in the Hopping Race while Varunika came second. Dog & the Bone was the other fun game; in this, Dashak Aggarwal bagged the first prize and Arika secured the second.
In the evening, a dance performance was prepared by our little bundle of talents under the guidance of their choreographer Archana Chaubey, on a medley of songs. It was so beautiful to see all these jumping jacks in their full form.
The kids’ energy and passion levels were unmatched and a treat for everyone watching them.
