Sector 92 turned saffron on 21 and 22 January, to celebrate the Ram Lalla idol consecration ceremony at Ayodhya Janm Bhoomi. This magical moment has come after a wait of 500 years. A two-day event was organized by the Sanskriti Seva Samiti of Sector 92.
An Akhand Ramcharit Manas Paath was organized, which started on 21 January morning and culminated on 22 January noon with a Hawan followed by Mahaprasad Vitran to all the devotees. Devotees gathered from all around Noida to participate in the Akhand Paath and receive the mahaprasad.
A beautiful Jhanki of “Shri Ram Darbar” was taken out on 21 January within the sector. It was led by a band playing Ram Dhun and was followed by the hundred of devotees on foot, motor cycles and cars, including small children and women, carrying Shri Ram flags. Amidst the chants of “Jai Shri Ram” and showering of flowers, the singing and dancing devotees made a full round of the sector. Lava prasad was also distributed by the organizers during the jhanki. Residents had also made arrangements for refreshments in front of their houses to welcome the yatris and showered flower petals on the jhanki and the yatris. The complete sector became “Rammay”.
Diyas were also distributed to the residents by the organizers beforehand. Mini Diwali was celebrated by the residents of Sector 92 on 22 Jan evening by lighting earthen lamps in their homes and at the sector temple.
The chants of Jai Shri Ram are still ringing in our ears. May we all take a pledge to follow the path shown by Baghwan Ram in our daily lives and inculcate the same in our children. This will be our true devotion to Shri Ram.
Jai Shri Ram!
