This is that time of Navratri when you are highly energetic and full of devotion. Dandiya is one such form when you show your love and devotion through dance to seek blessings from goddess Durga.
LBEOA organised a splendid and colourful dandiya night on 1st October to fuse in some energy and festive feel amongst our fellow residents. Our cultural head Mamta Aggarwal arranged for two professional choreographers Archana and ladies were trained under them to perform with more finesse for Dandiya Night.
Rajni Yadav (T38/ 304) along with her group of Espacians gave beautiful performances which were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. A live DJ with an efficient MC was also there to enliven the program with fun games and gifts. First of all, it started with Ganesh Vandana which was very efficiently performed by our wonderful kids. The group of ladies along with their choreographers presented their dance.
Prize distribution was also held to felicitate our residents. The prize for the best-dressed male was bagged by Anshul Aggarwal (34/1703) and the best-dressed female was awarded to Pallavi Gupta (T34/0003). Tanya Mittal was given best female dancer (34/1102). The best couple was won by Ritu and Pawan Ghavri (33/1602). In teenagers, Anshaj Gupta took the prize. All the children who participated were given participation certificates along with chocolates. All three choreographers were also rewarded with gifts for all their efforts put by them.
After that, a live DJ was played for everyone to enjoy freely with their mouth-watering delicacies from the food stalls. Rides and some fashion boutiques were also there to fulfil the shopping needs. Overall it was an extravagant event all put together with great efforts.
