With some people, life is always a crib-fest. These are the kind of folks who have a problem for every solution, instead of having a solution for every problem. They are perpetual victims who are wronged by everyone around them and whose value nobody understands. These entitled brats shamelessly use other people as their personal vomit bag. They don’t care if you are interested in hearing their sob story, nor do they care if you’re bogged down by problems of your own. Heck, they don’t even care if they’ve just met you. If you are an empathic listener, these predators will sniff you out and swoop in for the kill. They will prey on you and burden you with all their problems because in their mind, you exist to serve them.
These vampires will go straight for the jugular, sink in their teeth and drain the life force out of you. In the end, they’ll suck in all of your good energy, while you’ll be left with nothing but their icky, toxic energy and a desire to take a detox sea salt bath to cleanse your aura.
Every time you meet them, they go on an endless rant about the same problems. It is a never-ending loop. Any well-meaning advice given by you is guaranteed to fall on deaf ears, because they are not interested in solving their problems. If they did, how would they play the victim card and get the attention that they so desperately solicit? They are addicted to suffering, and you are addicted to rescuing.
Remember, that you cannot fill a bucket that has a hole in it. It is not your job to make others happy or play the role of their unpaid personal counselor. Set limits, and find freedom.
