‘Hear Clear India’ Camp by RWA
With the revolution of digital world and personal space, there is a clear trend of using personal heating devices for better experience. However we forget that after eyes, our ears have been under stress due to abuse of personal audio devices. This trend has been seen that petiole of all ages from young to old are facing hearing problems. Some of the other causes of heating loss are defined as ear infections, genetics, and exposure to loud noises. * Signs: Difficulty hearing conversations, especially in background noise, is a common sign. People with hearing loss may also ask others to repeat themselves or turn up the TV volume. * Impact: Hearing loss can lead to social isolation, depression, and difficulty following conversations. It can also make it harder to hear important sounds like smoke alarms or doorbells. Treatment: Hearing aids are the most common treatment for hearing loss. They can significantly improve a person’s ability to hear and communicate. Prevention: Protecting your ears from loud noises is the best way to prevent hearing loss. You should also see a doctor for regular hearing checks.
We should bring a practice in homes that our children are not provided ear phones at early stage in life and awareness should be spread across society how to protect our ears and eyes for a successful future. To spread this awareness RWA 39 had organised a check up camp with Hear Clear India on 17 May in RWA office C block market from 10a.m -4 p.m.
Around 20 residents attended the audiometry work shop and got their hearing checked. Team also demonstrated various precautions and showcased the hearing aids models suitable for different ages.
