The Eco-RWA with Cultural and Sports Committee of Supertech Emerald Court, 93A, hosted a vibrant Summer Championship League at the clubhouse on 22 and 23 June. The event attracted a large number of residents, spanning across various age groups, eager to participate in competitive indoor games of Table Tennis, Chess and Carrom.
The Carrom championship kicked off with great excitement, featuring singles and doubles knockout matches for both adults and kids in Carrom as well as Table Tennis. Participants were briefed on the tournament rules beforehand and engaged in matches filled with enthusiasm and vigor. The games showcased the talent of Emerald Court residents, with intense action unfolding on both the days.
Carrom matches lasted approximately 45 minutes. In the Adult Singles category, the winners were Rohit Sayal and Beauty Dash. For adult doubles in Carrom, the victorious pairs included Manish Singh–Akash Mishra and Beauty Dash–Ruchika Mathur Gogna. In the Kids Singles, Tejas emerged as the winner; while Rhythm Kapin and Akrant secured victory in the Kids Doubles category.
Additionally, our society’s table tennis tournament on 23 June, attracted nearly 25 enthusiastic participants from diverse age groups, including senior citizens. The event featured both singles and doubles tournaments, fostering lively engagement within the community. The winners in Adults Singles event were Akash and Ayush, whereas in Doubles were Manish Singh and Akash Mishra (Gold medal) and Rohit Sayal and Akshay Agarwal for (Silver medal). In the other Under-18 age category, the top three positions were secured by Satvik, Davik and Gayatri Sayal.
The game of chess saw maximum action and extremely competitive where Gold and Silver were won by Amir Sheikh and Manoj Jain in Adults category; in Kids category the winners were Shubh and Harshil.
Supertech Emerald Court extends congratulations to all participants and winners. A prize distribution ceremony, organized by ECORWA will be held on 15 August and will celebrate the achievements of the Championship League participants. Special thanks to the Cultural and Sports Committee members Dr. Sonika Singh, Monica Mehrotra, Neetu Gupta, Rohit Sayal, Shyamlesh Kar, Mrs. Madhumita and Ruchika Mathur Gogna along with several residents for their seamless coordination in uniting the Emerald Court community through sportsmanship.
