Crucial that department addresses infrastructural problems comprehensively
Sector-92 is indeed facing significant challenges with its electricity infrastructure. Despite being in a well-maintained area with amenities, the state of power transmission and distribution equipment is deteriorating. The issues persist even after interventions, as the underlying infrastructure remains inadequate despite superficial fixes.
The repeated assurances from the electricity department have not translated into lasting improvements, leaving residents to cope with frequent power fluctuations. These fluctuations not only damage valuable household equipment, but also contribute to a general sense of frustration and helplessness among the residents.
The outer boxes get a facelift while inside it’s the same worst infrastructure. The department just does the makeup of the equipment without making it workable from inside.
Time and again the RWA Sector-92 along with a few of the concerned residents have held meetings with the officer, but this issue supply chain is not solved. The assurance for great works planned for the sector are shared but their implementation is a distant dream.
It’s crucial that the department addresses these infrastructural problems comprehensively and ensures that promises of improvements are followed by effective and timely action.
It’s a pathetic situation where we residents feel helpless and “powerless” in extreme heat and humid weather. Hope the Bijli Vibhag wakes up from the slumber and takes our concerns seriously.
