Like last year, Electric heaters were given to the guards doing night duty. This is basically to avoid burning wood or other material. It is essential to control pollution and protect the health of the night duty guards, who brave extreme weather conditions and severe cold to guard the colony and the residents. Sufficient woolen clothing including woolen jackets, sweaters, socks, mufflers & caps have also been provided to the guards by SBWS. Two heaters in addition to the one purchased by Society have been donated by a resident Shalini Gupta of S 402 FF. Incidentally, SBWS has got three regular electric connections for its office and for the gates. Brig Gupta (S 462 GF) & Loveleen Phukela (S 141 FF) also donated woolen socks, mufflers and caps to all the 12 staff members of SBWS. Contributed by MK Gupta
