Elections for the Office-bearers and Members of Executive Committee of Noida Federation of Apartments Owners Association (NOFAA) were held recently. The entire process was done by a team of Returning Officers that comprised: JC Kala, Mahendra Singh and Abdul Bari.
Nominations for the various posts were invited from the eligible voters vide a circular dated 13 April 2024. Since the number of nominations were equal to the number of vacancies for the following posts, all of them were declared elected unopposed.
Following is the list of office-bearers declared by Returning Officers – President: Rajiva Singh; Vice President (4): Col Ramesh Gautam, Ashok Nauriyal, Dinesh Batra and Sachin Goyal; Secretary (4): Surojit Dasgupta, Nisha Rai, Balaparmeswaran, Umashankar Sharma; Joint Secretary (4): Ajay Kapoor, Udai Kumar Jain, Ramita Taneja, Pushkar Chitravanshi; Treasurer: Alok Kumar Garg; Joint Treasurer: GulshanPhamiia; Member (5): Suresh Sharma, Sushil Kumar Bahuguna, Shyamji Singh, Sushil Sood and Debendra Kumar Sahoo. As regards the post of Secretary General, there were two nominations – Prof. Rajesh Sahay and Puneet Sharma. The voting for electing one of them as Secretary General was held on 28 April, at the Community Hall of Sagar Presidency, F-8, Sector-50, Noida. Total 51 members voted. Prof. Sahay got 27 votes whereas Puneet Sharma got 24 votes. Accordingly, Prof. Sahay was declared elected as Secretary.
