The father of elections — Loksabha election– took place on 25 th may 2024 in Delhi. Our colony falls under New Delhi constituency one of the most prestigious constituencies of Delhi where the main Battle was between BJP candidate Basuri Swaraj and AAP candidate Somnath Bharti both advocates. Unlike last time where voting percentage during MCD election was only 33% this time residents came out in numbers under severe heat condition. Residents all ages especially senior on wheel chair and even on stretcher came to vote. Bringing up our voting percentage to a record 47 %.The facilities were very well organised at voting centres which were people friendly with drunking water and wheel chairs available for seniors lastly cheers to our residents who came and made our colony proud.
