Holiday club management arranged a wonderful Elders Evening on 1st October, being an International Elders Day. On the front lawns of the colony, a beautiful seating arrangement, awesome ambience, eye catching stage, melodious songs, mouth watering snacks, soft- and hard drinks. The invite was warm with a lovely card sent prior to the event. Gaurav, the Secretary, personally made sure that all elders of the colony received the invite. All were given a warm welcome by the team Holiday Club at the entrance of the lawn. They came with family and friends. The weather was just so right with a nip in the air. It was cool and refreshing adding warmth to the occasion.
The singers were fantastic to the extent that people couldn’t resist from dancing on the numbers and those sitting were cheering the singers. Gaurav Bhardwaj’s words of welcome were much appreciated. Everything was to its perfection and enjoyed by one and all. A big thank you to the team of Holiday Club. The Seniors would remember the evening for a long time to come. May we find more occasions to celebrate and honour the elders as we have a lot to imbibe from them.
