E-Painting Competition for Children a huge Draw
As always, this year too E-Block RWS Celebrated Independence Day with a lot of enthusiasm, the whole Block was bedecked with the Tri-Colour. The RWS had been for the Past few years, especially during the 1st Lockdown, the RWS thought of a Novel way to spread cheer among residents by decorating the Block in the National Flag. Happy to note that, what the RWS had initiated during Covid is spreading all over the country, with the clarion call of Har Ghar Tiranga.
The Sports Ground where the National Flag was unfurled was decorated beautifully decorated with Flags, Flowers and Balloons. This year as an added attraction and to connect the children to the significance of Independence Day a Painting Competition was organized in association with IPSAA Preschool & Day Care . Exciting Prizes were given to the winners in two age groups and all the participants were given certificates.
The National Flag was unfurled by SHO Shri Ajit Kumar Upadhayay and the festive atmosphere was livened with live singing of patriotic songs by the enthusiastic ladies of the Block.
Kudos to the RWS Cultural Team led by Rajat Bansal for a well organised Function and the Delicious Brunch of Purani Dilli delicacies Halwa, Nagori, Bedmi Poori, Aloo & Sitaphal Sabzi, Methi Chatni, Kachalu Salad and Tilla Kulfi.
