On the fateful night of May 10, 2024, DLF Phase 2 residents experienced nature’s fury as a relentless dust storm swept through the area, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. The aftermath of the storm revealed uprooted trees, tangled electrical wires, and a landscape marred by debris. Ashok Gupta, (L Block) recounted the harrowing experience of a massive jamun tree branch crashing perilously close to his property, narrowly missing his car but causing damage to his water filter and softener. He emphasized the urgent need for systematic pruning of overgrown trees to prevent future disasters.
