During the festive season of Dussehra, a group of inspiring women from Defence Colony from different professions came together to present a breathtaking performance of the Durga Dance in honour of a social cause. This powerful dance depicted the nine forms of Goddess Durga, each embodying strength, compassion, and resilience. These talented ladies, representing diverse fields such as healthcare, education, business, and the arts, showcased their devotion and unity by portraying the divine feminine energy in its most dynamic forms.
With vibrant costumes, synchronised movements, and expressive storytelling, they symbolized the triumph of good over evil, culminating in a dramatic and intense enactment of Goddess Durga’s victory over the demon Mahishasur. Their dedication and teamwork conveyed an empowering message, celebrating the strength of women when united for a cause. This performance not only honoured the spirit of Dussehra but also raised awareness and support for the social initiative they championed, leaving the audience inspired and moved.
