Durga Puja was celebrated with great gusto this year at Golf City 8. Beautiful pandal was decorated near the temple premises. All nine days there was Puja and arti
morning till evening. Since panchami, cultural programmes were held where kids and residents performed. There was a Bhajan Sandhya where a jagran party sang Mata bhajans. Garba Night, Dandiya night and hosts of dances made each evening a gala celebration!
There was trampoline and jumping Mickey for the children to play. Ballon sellers made hay every night ! Stalls of games were put up by children and people from nearby societies also enjoyed. Every night Prasad was distributed to everyone which included kuttu pakodi for fasting people on saptmi and puri alu, halwa on navmi. Sindoor khela was played by ladies on Dashmi before visarjan. Thereafter kadhi chawal bhog was distributed to residents.
